Format 03

A project that needs a route of its own

Not every task fits a standard format. Sometimes a website needs a large structure, non-standard navigation, several independent user scenarios or special requirements for content and interaction. We won’t squeeze such a project into a ready-made package. First we’ll understand the task and define the right scope.

When to choose this format

If the project needs more than ten pages, has many areas and a complex hierarchy, requires non-standard interactions, or you’re not yet sure how to organise a large amount of information. A project’s complexity depends more on its requirements than on the number of pages, so we scope custom projects around the actual task.

What we discuss before quoting

The project’s goals and audience; a proposed sitemap; page types and reusable templates; whether the copy and images are ready; required features; desired integrations; technical constraints; and the approval and handover process. Then we define the scope of work and prepare a tailored proposal.

Terms

Cost, timeline and scope of work are calculated individually after discussion. The baseline includes two rounds of revisions, and we fix the final terms in the proposal for the specific project. New requirements that come up after the structure is agreed are considered separately.

How we work

How the work is organised

  1. Discussing the task

You write to us on Telegram about what you do, what you offer and what the website should do. Together we choose the format: a landing page, a multi-page website or a custom project. At the same time we look at which texts, photos and examples you already have.

  2. Structure, terms and prepayment

We agree on the structure: which pages and blocks are needed and in what order. Before work begins, we fix the scope, cost, timeline, number of revision rounds, which materials you prepare and how the result is handed over. Then the prepayment is made and the project starts.

  3. Design and build

First we agree on the visual direction, then we build the pages within the agreed scope. New pages and features that weren’t part of the agreement are discussed separately before we take them on.

  4. Review and revisions

We show you the finished version. You collect your comments into one list: that is one round of revisions. A landing page includes one round; a multi-page website and a custom project include two.

  5. Handover

We check the website at different screen sizes: links, buttons, forms, text wrapping and navigation. We then hand over the result using the method agreed at the start.
